Dr. Sameer Islam, MD, MBA is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and Physician Network Services, Lubbock, Texas. He has more than 10 years experience mentoring premedical students, medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Islam completed a combined MD/MBA from the Texas Tech University system, Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Arizona. He has taught as an instructor for the Princeton Review MCAT course and has given numerous formal and informal lectures on the medical school, residency, and fellowship application process.
